1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFWisp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PDFWisp provides browser-based PDF tools including compression, merging, splitting, and format conversion. All file processing occurs in your web browser. We do not upload, store, or access your files.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

The Service is available in two tiers:

• Free: Up to 2 operations per day, maximum 10 MB file size. No account required.
• Pro: Unlimited operations, up to 100 MB file size, no advertisements, and access to premium features. Requires a paid subscription.

We reserve the right to modify tier limits, pricing, and features at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Accounts and Authentication

Pro features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to process files that contain malware or malicious content

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by PDFWisp. You retain full ownership of any files you process using our tools. We claim no rights over your content.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Since all file processing occurs in your browser, we are not responsible for data loss, file corruption, or processing errors. We recommend keeping copies of your original files. In no event shall PDFWisp be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
